This post isn’t about food, so I won’t put it under ‘Vegan MoFo,’ but it is related to veganism, as it’s about my best vegan friend, Bunny. I took her to Cheonan with me for Chuseok, and I just want to share some photos of her:

You can tell Bunny loves going to my parents’ house because whenever she’s there, she just looks so happy. She jumps around the house eating my mom’s plants, and sprawls out as if she owns the place. Hehe. I think my parents like having her around too. :) Happy family!

Hi! I just came across your blog and it makes me so happy! I am new to Seoul and a vegetarian baker, so your blog is full of life-saving information for me! I can't wait to check out your stall at the Foreign Flea Market, I hope you will be there at the end of the month! Also, I don't speak very much Korean, so do you think I would still be able to sign up for the baking class you just finished? Thanks so much!

I so love Bunny! And also, I have that same table! I got it with my frequent-buyer points at our local Korean market. :)
I'm going to be in Korea for two weeks starting next weekend (10/16). Will you be selling your baked goods anywhere during that time? If so, will you bring Bunny with you? ;-)

P.S. Does your parents' place have ondol? (Do any high-rise apartments have it?) If so, maybe that's one reason why Bunny loves it there. Plus, as I seem to recall from previous posts, your mom is very nice to her, too.

Hooray for bunnies on blogs! My bunny lives at my parents place right now and also loves it there. So excited to go back home to visit him (and, uh the family too, I guess ;)) soon!

Adorable BUNNY! I love her. It is illegal to have bunnies where I live (in QLD, Australia). Also my decidedly non-vegan cats would probably eat bunnies, so better for all that I steer clear.
I shall get vicarious bunny love through the interwebs!

Hi Allison: not sure whether I will be having another vegan bake sale this month… But if I do, I'll let everyone know~ And as for the baking class, you might want to e-mail the instructor for more information on what her teaching schedule is like this month. She can communicate in English, but since there are other Koreans in the class, it might be difficult for you to follow… ? Anyway, contact her and see what she says- she's super nice! Tell her I (Mipa) sent you. :)
