Hello dear readers in Korea!
This coming Friday & Saturday (Feb 25-26), stop by Cafe Harunohee for some fabulous eats! Minju and I are putting together a scrumptious vegan menu for all you hungry bellies out there, including but not limited to:
A delicious and healthy vegan sprout bibimbab set on Friday (7300 won, including espresso/americano/tea beverage)
Japanese Curry on Saturday (5000 won)
Vegan waffles with blueberry preserves, bananas, and vegan whipped cream (both days), 9000 won.
Oh, and there shall be plenty of baked goodies, courtesy of yours truly. So far, the list includes:
vegan thin mint cookies
pumpkin biscotti
cranberry almond cookies
and vegan strawberry shortcake with cashew cream!
Believe me, there will be more strawberries on there than what you see in the photo. This was just a ‘test’ piece that I made over the weekend, and yes, it was deeeelicious!
Anyway~ so if you don’t have anything better to do this Friday and Saturday, come chill at Harunohee. Bring friends, your computer, or a good book, and enjoy some scrumptious, compassionate eats! Soy milk and free wifi available.
Directions to Harunohee Cafe:
Gunja Station, Line 5&7, Exit 6. Walk straight for about 5 minutes. The cafe will be on your left.

Aww man…How I wished I'm still in Seoul. That strawberry shortcake looks too creamy to resist.
Anyway, I've been your reader for a few months and I really wanna thank you for this wonderful blog that kept my tummy happy during my stay in Seoul. And your recipes have added colours and flavours to my usual (boring) home-cooking.
You have also inspired me to move on to a vegan diet (and lifestyle) after years of being a vegetarian. Thank you, Mipa, and keep up the good work (:

We'll be in Seoul this October and hopefully, you'll have something like this happening again then! Everything looks wonderful and I wish we're in Seoul this weekend instead of in October!
